These are photos taken a few microseconds after an atomic bomb blast, originally from here. These pictures scare the hell outta me, though they're beautiful. Can't help but think that we've been playing with fire messing with this stuff and eventually we'll get burned. What's happening to reality in the midst of that fireball?
